Wilderland Ministries is overseen by a small, national team of US leaders - experts and practitioners with decades of experience in non-profit and global missions contexts.
Wilderland Ministries is a religious, tax-exempt, nonprofit with 501(c)3 status designated by the IRS. It is governed by bylaws and operates under the authority of a board of directors.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Jonny & Sarah Griffiths
Jonny & Sarah Griffiths have served in vocational ministry for over two decades. They are the Co-Directors of Member Care at World Indigenous Missions (New Braunfels, TX). Prior to life in Texas they served with Foursquare Missions International in the UK, and pastored in Nampa, Idaho before their missions work. They are both ordained ministers with The Foursquare Church, certified debriefers, and are passionate about spiritual formation and sustainable rhythms in the lives of global workers.
They have been married since 2004 and have four children.
Jonny serves as the President of the Board.
Founders
Peter Henderson has served as the senior pastor at Living Way Fellowship (Littleton Foursquare Church) in Highlands Ranch, Colo., since January 2010. He is the Missions Mobilizer for the Central District of Foursquare Churches. Peter is passionate about disciple-making movements and formerly served as director of church transformation + pastoral care and mission representative for the Gateway District of The Foursquare Church. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Life Pacific University. Peter and his wife, Jill, have been married since 2014 and have two daughters.
Peter Henderson
Lara has spent over fifteen years ministering in a wide range of areas including the local church and globally. She is passionate about how the gift of Administration serves the expansion of the Kingdom and loves to come alongside individuals, teams and organizations to help them realize their God-given dreams and visions.
She loves the unique expression of God within cultures and peoples and lives with hope for the nations. It is her joy to currently serve cross-cultural workers, teams and organizations in a variety of ways.
Lara is the Secretary of the Board.
Lara H
Jenifer and her husband Chris serve as lead pastors of Mill Creek Foursquare Church just north of Seattle, WA. She has a life-long love of learning and teaching, holding a BA in Biblical Studies from LIFE Pacific University and a MATS from George Fox Evangelical Seminary. At present she is engaged in PhD studies at the London School of Theology. She has served as an adjunct professor of LIFE Pacific University teaching Biblical Languages and Old Testament Theology. Jenifer is a contributing author of The Problem with the Problem with Women in Ministry Leadership. For the past three years she has served on the Doctrine Committee for the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel and currently holds the position of vice chair.
Her greatest privilege is to be a mother to Emma, Eli, Luke and Claire.
Jenifer Manginelli
Virgil Ruiz is a seasoned financial professional with over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. Virgil is the Co-Founder of Ricerca MCS SAC, a firm based in Arequipa, Peru, where he previously served as both Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
In addition to his professional accomplishments, he has served as both a Deacon and Elder for his local congregation and previously chaired the Church Finance Committee.
Virgil resides in New Braunfels, TX with his wife of 21 years, Yahaira, and their two sons.
Virgil serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors.
